Privacy, location, and field data basics

Understand what to avoid sharing in support, community, Field Desk, and creator workflows.

Sensitive field information

Outdoor planning can involve private property, exact locations, access routes, trail camera context, hunting pressure, and personal travel patterns. Treat that information carefully.

Share the minimum needed

- For support, share the page, account, general region, and issue before sharing exact coordinates.

- For community, avoid exact private property, stand, blind, or access details.

- For Field Desk issues, include enough context to reproduce the issue without exposing unnecessary private details.

Do not share

- Passwords, payment credentials, API keys, or one-time passcodes.

- Private land access details unless support specifically needs them.

- Another person's personal information without permission.

When in doubt

Start with general context. Support can ask for additional detail if it is truly needed.
